1935-59 Marx, 3 Clockwork Tractors, 1 in Original Box
Here's three (3) Marx clockwork wind-up tractors that were produced over a period of 25 years. All 3 work. Keys are attached. Marx Sparkling Highboy Climbing Tractor (1959) - unplayed store stock from the Kaufman Collection. Silver, black, and red tinplate body, rubber treads, plastic wheels, bulldozer blade, plastic exhaust pipe, and plastic figure driver. Works well, but treads have shrunk a little bid which puts too much force on the wheels preventing them from turning. One of the last wind-up tractors produced by Marx. Size: 9". Tractor (1941) - orange, yellow and black steel litho. Missing driver. Original black rubber treads. Metal wheels. Missing rear tow hook. Size: 8½". Midget Climbing Tractor (1935) - spring motor with separate brake lever, flat radiator, and one original tread (repaired). Red with black embossed highlights. Missing 2nd tread. Missing driver.
